list of additional features you may create a design unique to your fiber
specific needs.*

Standard Features

"The Basic Wheel"

Old world construction from solid
hardwoods, absolutely NO plywood used!
•
Furniture Grade (Select) Eastern Cherry used for
all wheels.
• Each wheel has high quality bearings at all pivoting or
rotating assemblies
• Precision roller bearings on treadle bar, and ball bearings on wheel axle.
• 3 Bobbins supplied, ball bearings
standard for all models. (Visit our Technical Info page

Traditional thick leather flyer bearings.
• Traditional wooden threads for band tensioning adjustment
• Heel/Toe treadle design and turned wooden
footman
•
All wheels come with a natural oil finish.
• Shellac finish is also available at an additional cost of $385 per
wheel and generally increases delivery time.
•
4 drive ratios standard, generally 8:1,10:1,
12:1 and 15:1. All suited for fine to medium yarns
•
3/8 brass orifice standard. (Visit our

The flyer is double drive but comes
standard with Scotch tensioning for converting to single drive
use

Brass flyer hooks
• All wheels available either left or right handed at no additional
charge (may increase delivery time a little if ordering left hand).
